Israel : Nushrat Bharuccha, who was stuck in Israel amid the conflict situation in the country, is finally returning home. The Bollywood actress was in Israel to attend the Haifa International Film Festival when Hamas attacked the southern part of the country. Her team told the media that the actress is now returning to India with the help of the Indian Embassy.
“We finally managed to contact Nushrat and with the help of the embassy she is being brought back home safely,” a member of her team said. Her publicist said in a statement, “We did not get a direct flight so she is going home on a connecting flight. She did not give further details due to security reasons and said that they will talk about it as soon as she arrives in India.” The statement further said, “We are relieved and thank God that she is safe and coming to India.

It Is noteworthy that in the actor’s last film ‘Akeli’, she played the role of a young woman trapped in a war zone, who had to risk her life to reach home safely. Reportedly, Nushrat was at the film festival to talk about the same film.
Earlier, her team had shared that the actor was in the basement for security reasons after the situation in Haifa turned adverse. The team could not contact on Saturday, due to which she and her family became extremely worried. Her manager had earlier issued a statement saying that they were trying to bring Nushrat home in ‘best health and safety’.
