Amit Shah addressed a rally at Jialgora Stadium in Jodopokhar on Tuesday, urging the people to unite for change by raising their fists and chanting “Jai Shri Ram.” He declared that the BJP would never implement Muslim reservation and boldly claimed that even the fourth generation of Rahul Gandhi would not be able to abolish Article 370.
Shah was campaigning for BJP candidate Ragini Singh from Jharia, emphasizing that voters’ choices on November 20 would shape Jharkhand’s future. He questioned whether the state wanted a government led by wealthy JMM leaders or one that created wealth for the people. Shah accused Congress and JMM leaders of corruption, stating that authorities had recovered significant sums of illicit money from both Congress and JMM officials.
Shah promised that if the BJP formed the government, they would take severe action against looters, even going as far as hanging them upside down. He accused Congress and JMM of engaging in numerous scams, including those involving MGNREGA, mining, land, liquor, and army land, labelling them a “scam government.”
Amit Shah reaffirmed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guarantees, pledging Rs 2100 per month under the Gogo Didi Yojana, a Rs 500 gas cylinder, and two free cylinders on Diwali and Raksha Bandhan. He also assured monthly unemployment allowances of Rs 2000 and nominal land registration costs. Additionally, farmers would receive Rs 3100 per quintal for their paddy, and various pension schemes would provide Rs 2500 each.
Shah criticized Hemant Babu for allegedly bringing “intruders” into Jharkhand and vowed that the BJP would remove them from the state if they came to power. He promised the crowd that the BJP government would deliver appointment letters for government jobs directly to people’s homes. The Home Minister also promised to end coal smuggling under the leadership of Ragini Singh. He condemned Congress for being anti-reservation and accused them of wanting to provide reservations to Muslims, a move the BJP would never support.
