The Deputy Chief Minister, Prabhati Parida, announced that the fourth instalment of the first phase of Subhadra Jejna will be available after January 15. However, the government has not disclosed the exact date yet. Beneficiaries applying by March 31 will receive money in two instalments simultaneously.
Subhadra, the last registered beneficiary from the village, completed the application process. Meanwhile, 2.67 lakh women remain excluded from the Subhadra Jojana benefits due to various reasons. According to the government, the primary reasons include incomplete applications and mismatched information between the applications and official records.
To address these issues, the government is actively correcting errors. The verification and correction process will continue until January 15, after which officials will finalize the list of beneficiaries. A meeting with the banks has already been held to streamline the process.
