Arvind Padhi Directs Temple Authorities to Implement New Flag Hoisting Time

The temple will hold a flag-hoisting ceremony in the afternoon today. Instead of the usual evening ceremony, the flag hoisting will take place between 3:30 pm and 4:00 pm. The Chief Administrator of Shrimandi has ordered the shift in timing during the month of Kartik due to the large crowds in the evening. The new policy instructs the Chunra servants to carry out the flag hoisting.

The decision comes after heavy crowds gathered both inside the temple and outside the Lion Gate during evening flag-hoisting sessions. To manage the crowd, the temple has rescheduled the ceremony to 3:30 pm, expecting fewer people at that time. Chief Administrator Arvind Padhi has clarified that no exceptions will be allowed for the new timing and has instructed the temple commander and supervisor to enforce the change.
