BJP leader Anil Biswal asserts that the current BJP government is effectively addressing corruption, in contrast to the previous BJD administration. Biswal criticized past vigilance practices for targeting only lower-level officials, such as clerks, while overlooking higher-ranking officers like Chief Engineers and OAS officials.
In a recent media statement, Biswal highlighted a major case involving Sunil Rautarai, an engineer working on the Lower Suktel project. Authorities have arrested Rautarai and seized 52 plots of land from him. Biswal indicated that Rautarai’s connections with influential figures like Pandian and Naveen have been exposed.
Biswal further accused Pandian and others of engaging in a massive corruption scheme, alleging they siphoned off crores of rupees during their time in office. The BJD has yet to respond to these allegations from the BJP.
