BJP filed a complaint against Priyanka Gandhi Vadra

Madhya Pradesh: Congress and BJP have come face-to-face as the date of the Madhya Pradesh election is coming closer. The BJP filed a complaint against Priyanka Gandhi Vadra before the Election Commission last Friday. BJP has requested the Election Commissioner to take action against Priyanka Gandhi Vadra for violating the Election Code of Conduct.

Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi announced the scholarship scheme while addressing a rally in Bhadra Mandal. The BJP has alleged that this is a violation of the code of conduct.

Addressing a public meeting in Mandla district on the 12th, Priyanka Gandhi announced the scholarship for first and second grade students of government schools. He even announced that every student will be given 500 to 1500 rupees per month. In addition, he announced a scheme of Rs 648.80 crore for the students of the state under this scheme.

By strongly opposing this, BJP leader Pankaj Badhwani has filed a complaint before the Election Commission against Priyanka. He alleged that Priyanka Gandhi was announcing lucrative offers to influence the polls and this is the violation of election code of coduct.

The Chief Election Commissioner has already announced the date for assembly elections in Mizoram, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Telangana last monday. Voting will be held in Madhya Pradesh on 17th of next month. Apart from this, polling will be held in Rajasthan on November 25 and in Telangana on November 30. Only in Chhattisgarh the polling will be done in two phases. The first phase of voting will be held here on November 7 and the second phase on November 17. Counting of votes will be done on December 3 for all these five states. The Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) said that all the processes of the election will be completed by December 5.
