The police discovered the body of BJP leader Prithviraj Naskar inside the party office, sparking panic. Authorities arrested a woman in connection with his murder. Naskar, who managed the BJP’s social media accounts, had been missing since November 5, according to his family. His body was found on Friday night.

Meanwhile, the BJP has criticized the grassroots Congress for this incident. In a separate incident in Birbhum district, local grassroots Congress leader Sameer Thandar was also beaten to death by attackers while returning home at night. He was a member of the Kankalitala Panchayat and succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
