The CEO of an American company fired 99 employees for failing to attend a morning meeting. Of the company’s 110 employees, 99 were dismissed at once.
A former employee shared the incident on Reddit, posting the CEO’s letter that explained the reason for their dismissal. The employee, who had just joined the company selling musical instruments, revealed that the CEO fired him just an hour after he started. The CEO, using the name Baldibin, wrote a lengthy letter informing the employees of their termination.
The letter stated, “For those of you who did not attend this morning’s meeting, please consider this an official notice. You are all dismissed for failing to fulfil your obligations to join the company.”
The CEO’s letter further explained that the employees had breached their contract by missing the meeting and instructed them to return any company property. Additionally, the CEO directed the employees to sign out of all company-related accounts.
