Chief Minister KCR sent his resignation letter to the Governor

K Chandrasekhar Rao aka KCR has resigned from the post of Chief Minister after the huge victory of Congress in Telengana. He has sent his resignation letter to Governor Tamilisai Soundarajan. KCR was working as the Chief Minister of Telangana since 2014. This time he aimed for a hat-trick of victories. But the Congress has dashed all his hopes.

KCR has conceded defeat as the Congress is about to form the government in Telangana. For this, he has sent his resignation letter to Raj Bhavan through an official.

Earlier KCR was staying at his official residence Pragati Bhawan. He secretly left the government residence in two lanes with some of his supporters. But did not reach the Governor’s palace. It is reported that he has sent his resignation to the governor though some official instead of visiting her personally.

After leaving the official residence, KCR has now moved to his farm house in Iravalli village of Medak district. The most important and surprising thing is that KCR left without any security escort to the farm house without informing anyone.
