Delhi Assembly Elections: AAP Bets on New Faces, Surprises with 6 Defectors

Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party has released its list of candidates. However, there are 6 surprises in this candidate list of the app.

To everyone’s surprise, the Aam Aadmi Party released the list of 11 candidates for the assembly elections. The big thing is that the party surprised everyone by giving tickets to 6 people who joined AAP from BJP and Congress.

The party has given tickets to Brahm Singh Tanwar from Chhatrapur, Anil Jha from Kiradi and Bibi Tyagi from Lakshmi City. He recently left the BJP and joined the Aam Aadmi Party. After Kartar Singh Tanwar, the current MLA from Chhatrapur, joined the BJP, the app bet on Brahm Singh Tanwar. Brahm Tanwar also quit BJP and joined AAP. He is believed to be a great Gujur leader of South Delhi.

Similarly, the AAP Admi Party has given tickets to Zubair Chowdhury from Silmpur, Veer Singh Dhingan from Jampuri and Sumesh Shawkin from Matiala. These three people left Congress and joined the app.

Elections for 70 seats of Delhi Assembly will be held in February 2025. In the 2020 Delhi Assembly elections, AAP won 62 out of 70 seats.
