A drone flew over the temple at around 4:10 am. Witnesses saw it coming from Domandap Sahi. The drone first circled the temple, moved around the Meghnad wall, and even hovered over the temple roof.
The Nilachakra turned and emerged through the northern gate from Sridand. Authorities are investigating who operated the drone and how it landed on the temple.
