
Bhubaneswar: Heavy rain fall is expected in the upcoming days in the state. A cyclone is likely to form in the Southeast Bay of Bengal on the 14th. It has been predicted by Center for Environment and Climate (CEC) run by Education and Research (SOA) that it will take the form of low pressure on 15th.
According to the weather forecast report, the possible cyclonic storm may change its direction after moving in the northwest direction and turn towards the north by 16th.
Due to this, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in south Odisha from 15th. As it is moving towards the north, there is also a possibility of heavy rain in various districts of coastal areas and north Odisha.
Heavy rain may occur in Gajapati, Koraput, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Puri, Nayagarh, Dhenkanal, Jagatsinghpur, Khurda, Cuttack, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur and Keonjhar between 15th to 18th.
