A fatal road accident occurred near Ektali Street on National Highway No. 60 under Jaleshwar police station in Balasore district. A truck traveling from West Bengal to Cuttack collided with an unknown vehicle late at night, leaving the driver trapped in the truck for an extended period.
The National Highway Patrol police promptly arrived at the scene upon receiving the news. They used a cutting machine to slice through the cabin and successfully rescued the critically injured driver after considerable effort.
The National Highway Ambulance swiftly transported the driver to Basta Hospital. As his condition deteriorated, he was transferred to Baltimore Hospital for advanced care. Meanwhile, Jaleshwar police initiated a thorough investigation at the accident site.
