
The Sports Minister, Anurag Thakur, announced on Wednesday that winners of medals in all Khelo India competitions will now eligible for government jobs under revised criteria. He highlighted the collaborative effort between the Department of Personnel and Training and the Sports Ministry in revising the eligibility criteria for sportspersons seeking government employment.
Thakur stated that this groundbreaking step extends eligibility to medal winners from various Khelo India Games, including Youth, University, Para, and Winter Games, for government jobs.
