The accused in the Manapuram Finance office looting case in Sambalpur is still at large. Four police teams have been dispatched outside the state, while ongoing searches are being conducted in Sambalpur and neighboring districts. However, authorities have yet to find any leads.
The incident took place yesterday at the Manapuram Gold Loan office in Bubharaja, where approximately six to seven gunmen stormed in. They brutally assaulted the staff and threatened them, binding all employees. Afterward, the robbers made off with 28 kg, 200 grams of gold, and ₹4.8 lakh in cash.
The police are currently investigating the case, analyzing CCTV footage from the scene of the robbery for clues.
