As one of Bollywood’s cherished stars, Salman Khan is commemorating his 58th birthday today, December 27. Esteemed by fans of all age groups, the ‘Dabangg’ luminary, born in Indore, Madhya Pradesh in 1965 to renowned screenwriter Salim Khan and Salma Khan, holds a special place in the hearts of many. Educated at St Stanislaus High School and St Xavier’s College in Mumbai, Khan dropped out of college, subsequently making his Bollywood debut in 1988 with a supporting role in ‘Biwi Ho To Aisi,’ followed by the lead role in Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ in 1989.

Beyond his illustrious three-decade-long acting career, Salman Khan stands out as a successful film producer, television host, businessman, and philanthropist. With an estimated net worth of ₹2,912 crore ($350 million), he commands ₹100 crore for a movie and earns ₹300 crore annually from endorsements.
