Attending political events became expensive. Hindi teacher suspended. Such incidents have been seen in Beguniapada area of Ganjam. Beguniapada B. Bhagat Mohanty, a Hindi teacher at Nuagaon Ballav High School, has been suspended by the District Education Officer.
Last November 30, there was a program of distribution of allowances and ration cards to some beneficiaries in the Beguniapada Burujhari retreat. Teacher Bhagwat Mohanty was present along with the local Sarpanch and took pictures. The district education officer has taken such steps after this photo went viral on social media.
Teacher Bhagwat Mohanty’s wife is said to be a committee member of Burujhari Panchayat. Bhagwat is said to have done this to show his political consort as the husband of Samitishavya. However, the response of the concerned teacher has not been received.
