House Collapses in Khairtala Bomb Explosion; Three Men Dead

A homemade bomb exploded violently, claiming the lives of three people in Murshidabad, West Bengal. The explosion occurred during illegal bomb-making activities at the house of Mamun Mulla, a resident of Khairtala, late on Sunday night.

According to police, the bomb detonated unexpectedly while Mamun Mulla, Sakirul Sarkar, and Mustaqin Sheikh were assembling it. The explosion destroyed Mamun Mulla’s house and damaged nearby homes.

Following the blast, a large police force arrived at the scene, and the fire brigade quickly extinguished the resulting fire. Authorities have launched a detailed investigation into the incident.

The deceased have been identified as Mamun Mulla and Sakirul Sarkar, both residents of Khairtala, and Mustaqin Sheikh, who lived in Mahatab Colony. The trio had been preparing bombs inside the house when the tragic explosion occurred.
