Media Act 2022 has to be implemented
According to media reports, the government held a meeting with leading social media companies in which all social media companies have been directed to take strict action within a week. According to which the Media Act 2022 will be implemented on all social media. A strict approach should be taken against the content of social media platforms and content that is harmful to children.

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that the government is working to deal with the problem of deepfake. He further said that it is absolutely necessary to stop the spread of fake news with the help of AI. According to reports, the government will take strict action against such platforms that spread fake news. For this, the government is monitoring all social media platforms. We inform you that the issue of deepfake was recently raised by Prime Minister Modi. Prime Minister Modi also raised questions on the threat of deepfakes and regulation of AI at the G-20 meeting.
