The Israeli army is moving forward in Gaza. Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the IDF Marom Brigade at Adam Base on Thursday. Here he met soldiers from different units of the army. Netanyahu told the Marom Brigade soldiers that we have had very impressive successes. We are already on the outskirts of Gaza City. We are moving forward. I want to make one thing clear that “Nothing can stop us.”
During this, the Israeli Prime Minister was informed by the unit commanders about their activities in recent weeks. This included rescuing civilians and eliminating terrorists from the area adjacent to the Gaza Strip, as well as refresher exercises for marksmanship and sniper teams and nearby emergency squads.
Prime Minister Netanyahu also visited an exhibition of the unique operational capabilities of specialized units and the units’ use of special equipment. They will be used in the fighting in Gaza and various additional areas.
Here PM Netanyahu said, “I am here in the Marom Brigade with elite units, who are doing sacred work. The men and women fighters who fought valiantly from the immediate aftermath of the attack, saved lives, lost comrades and stopped the enemy. We are in the middle of the campaign. We have had very impressive successes. We are already on the outskirts of Gaza City. We are moving forward. He further said, “We too have suffered a loss, a painful loss, because every soldier who is martyred is important for us. Our hearts are with their families. But I want to make one thing clear, one of the soldiers just told me that nothing can stop us.”
