
Lakhs of people came out to the street in Washington, D.C., America, in support of Israel. According to media reports, 2,90,000 protesters from across the country gathered in Washington, D.C. for the March for Israel. During this, anti-Semitism was condemned and demand were made for the release of Israeli hostages. Israeli President Isaac Herzog addressed the crowd via live video.
He stressed unity in support of those held by Hamas and the right of every Jew to live safely. Herzog said America, Israel and around the world are united to march for the right of every Jew to live proudly and safely. Herzog said that we are a suffering nation, yet united and determined. And with you through our shared voices, values and strength, together we will defeat evil and win.
The largest pro-Israel rally in America
This is considered to be the largest pro-Israel rally in America since October 7. For which the unprecedented security measures have been designated as a “Level 1” program by the Department of Homeland Security. University of Maryland student Sarah Blau expressed her support for Israel and participated in the march wearing a T-shirt bearing the image of Israeli soldier Omer Neutra, which had been manufactured by Hamas.
The student said that we were very good friends, everyone loves him. He is a born leader and everyone is very impressed by it. Blau said she wanted to join the march to show her support for Israel.
