On the fourth Monday of the holy month of Shravana, thousands of devotees flocked to prominent Shiv temples across the state, participating in the vibrant and spiritually charged rituals.
In Ashtgarh, at the renowned Shiv Peeth Baba Dhableswar, the temple doors opened at 2 a.m. to accommodate the influx of devotees. Rituals were promptly completed, with Kaudiyas—devotees carrying sacred water—lined up from morning to evening. Baba Dhableswar was seen in the form of a giant lion, offering darshan to the throng of worshippers.

Similarly, the Baneshwar temple in Sundargarh District witnessed a significant turnout. The temple was opened at 2 a.m., and Kaudiyas poured water in a disciplined manner. Police and administrative arrangements were in place to manage the large crowd and ensure smooth proceedings.
At Ladubaba’s shrine in Sharankul, Niagara District, a substantial crowd of Bolbum devotees gathered. The temple administration had made extensive arrangements to facilitate the continuous flow of water and manage the high number of visitors. The chants of “Bol Bom” resonated throughout the temple premises, reflecting the fervor and devotion of the participants. The state’s temples were abuzz with spiritual energy as devotees engaged in the sacred rituals of Shravana.
