Mohan Mohapatra, renowned for his role as “Silver Gandhi” in Pushpa 2, is making headlines for his standout performance in the record-breaking film. Directed by Sukumar Prasad Garu and co-directed by Mohapatra, Pushpa 2 has shattered Indian cinema records, grossing ₹1.5 billion within 12 days of release.
The film, featuring Allu Arjun alongside stars Rashmika Dunna, Fawad Fazil, Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu, and Sunil, has captivated audiences with its action, romance, and dance sequences. Produced by Naveen Yamen and Y Ravi Shankar, the movie has been a nationwide sensation, with Allu Arjun’s “Jail” and “Bel” chapters gaining immense popularity.

Speaking to the media, Mohapatra expressed gratitude for being part of this Hindi-Telugu bilingual epic. “This has been possible due to the immense grace of Lord Jagannath, my mother’s blessings, and the support of 4.5 million people of Odisha,” he said. Born in Bari and Berhampur, Mohapatra’s journey has been an inspiration.
Beyond the silver screen, Mohapatra is also the brand ambassador for the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
