MP CM Unveils Plans for Lord Ram Tourism after Ram Temple Consecration

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav praised the historic significance of the consecration of the Ram Lalla idol at the newly-built temple in Ayodhya. During a press briefing on Monday night, he revealed plans to transform locations associated with Lord Ram into popular tourist destinations across the state, aiming to celebrate cultural and spiritual heritage while boosting tourism.

Emphasizing the mega consecration ceremony’s importance, Yadav stated that it symbolizes the advent of ‘Ram Rajya,’ reflecting an ancient concept of a society free from discrimination. The initiative not only seeks to honor Lord Ram but also aims to promote tourism, encouraging visitors to explore and connect with various locations linked to Lord Ram in Madhya Pradesh.

Yadav expressed his views at his official residence in Bhopal, describing the Ram temple idol consecration as a historic event. He announced the development of tourist places at sites where Lord Rama set foot in Madhya Pradesh, highlighting the establishment of good governance under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.

Congratulating the nation on the occasion of the Ram Lalla idol consecration in Ayodhya, the Chief Minister personally celebrated by offering prayers to Lord Ram, lighting sparklers, and chanting “Jai Shri Ram” at his decorated home. On January 22, he virtually witnessed the consecration ceremony from the Ram Raja Temple in Orchha, accompanied by former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who joined him in prayers at the temple, also known as Chhoti Ayodhya.

The text also mentions the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the historic Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22. This significant event concluded with the unveiling of the Ram Lalla idol at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, where PM Modi performed vital rituals, symbolizing the infusion of divine energy into the idol. The ceremony also included the traditional ‘aarti’ performed by PM Modi at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya.
