NEET-UG Results Released Online, Students Can Check Now

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the NEET-UG exam results today, following the Supreme Court’s order to publish the city-wise and examination center-wise results by Saturday noon. Students can access their results on the official website of NEET UG 2024, nta.nic.in. The global results were initially released on June 4, but the latest publication includes city-wise and examination center-wise results.

The apex court has stipulated that if the results indicate widespread irregularities, a re-examination may be held. The CBI is currently investigating allegations of irregularities in the medical entrance exam, with 60 arrests made so far. The NEET-UG examination was held on May 5 across 4,750 centers in the country, with approximately 24 lakh students participating. The results were initially expected to be declared on June 14 but were released earlier due to the high ratings achieved by the students.

Following the exam, allegations of question paper leakage surfaced, leading to the NTA directing the CBI to investigate. A total of 67 students achieved the top score of 720 marks, sparking further controversy.The Supreme Court will continue to hear the case on Monday, addressing various issues, including the potential re-test and publication of results.
