
Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently visited Kavaratti to inaugurate various development projects and lay foundation stones. Additionally, he is scheduled to address a mass gathering of two hundred thousand women in Thrissur, Kerala, during the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Mahila Conference.
In preparation for the Prime Minister’s visit, banners and hoardings have been prominently displayed in Thrissur city. He is expected to engage in road shows and public meetings as part of his itinerary.
The Kerala unit of the BJP is organizing a convention titled ‘Sthree Shakthi Modikk Oppam’ (Empower Women with Modi) at the Thekkinkadu ground. This event aims to congratulate PM Modi for successfully passing the Women’s Reservation Bill and will involve the participation of women from diverse backgrounds.
Before heading to Kerala, Prime Minister Modi dedicated and laid foundation stones for various development projects in Lakshadweep, where he chaired a review meeting on the region’s progress.
During his visit to Tamil Nadu, the Prime Minister inaugurated several projects, including the Demonstration Fast Reactor Fuel Reprocessing Plant in Kalpakkam. He also unveiled the new terminal building at Tiruchirappalli International Airport and dedicated multiple railway projects, contributing to the region’s economic development and employment generation.
