PM Modi inaugurates Delhi-Meerut RAPIDX Train

New Delhi : The country has got its first ‘Namo Bharat’. Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off ‘Namo Bharat’ from the station built in Vasundhara Sector-8 of Ghaziabad. In the first phase, a distance of 17 km can be travelled on the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut corridor. This journey can be completed in 12 minutes. After this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the public meeting. More than 50 thousand people are expected to attend the public meeting. The public meeting place has been converted into an impenetrable fort. Besides, 10 parking lots have been made, in which thousands of vehicles can be parked. Diversion has been done on nearby roads. Some schools of Vasundhara have been kept closed and dozens of factories in Sahibabad Industrial Area Site 4 are also closed.

PM Modi will address a public meeting in Vasundhara Sector 8. There is tight security in the entire area including Vasundhara Sector 1 around the venue of the public meeting. Security agencies including police forces of many districts had taken charge of security several days ago. A large number of people are expected to reach to listen to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Keeping in mind the program of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, diversion has been done on many routes by Ghaziabad Traffic Police. Till the end of the Prime Minister’s program, movement of all types of vehicles from Hindon Air Force Roundabout via Mohan Nagar towards Sahibabad Rapidex Station is completely prohibited. Movement of all types of vehicles is completely prohibited from Police Station Link Road Red Light towards Sahibabad Rapidex Station and Jan Sabha.

Common people will also be able to use it from October 21. Let us tell you that the Regional Rapid Transit System is a high-speed, high-frequency transport system, which will run at a speed of about 160 km per hour. Work is currently underway on its 82 km long first corridor between Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut.
