PM Modi to inaugurate GPAI Summit today

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) Summit today around 5 PM in New Delhi at Bharat Mandap. GPAI is a multi-stakeholder initiative, involving 29 member countries.

GPAI is a multi-stakeholder initiative involving 29 member countries, with a focus on advancing research and practical activities related to Artificial Intelligence (AI) principles and applications. India holds the presidency of GPAI for 2024 and is hosting the annual GPAI Summit from December 12 to 14, 2023, featuring sessions on diverse topics such as AI and global health, education, skills, AI and data management, and ML workshops.

In this summit, more than 50 GPAI specialists and over 150 speakers across the country will participate. The summit will also include research symposiums, the AI Game-changers, and participation from top AI experts and speakers globally. It includs representatives from Intel, Reliance Jio, Google, Meta, AWS, Yotta, Netweb, Paytm, Microsoft, Mastercard, NASSCOM, STPI, Imers, Jio Haptik, Bash.ai, and more. Additionally, young AI enthusiasts and startups will showcase their AI models and solutions.
