Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UAE President Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan launched the UPI RuPay card service in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. Additionally, PM Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the first Hindu temple in the Gulf nation, Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.
Upon his arrival, Prime Minister Modi received a warm welcome from the UAE President and was honoured with a Guard of Honour. This visit marks an important milestone in PM Modi’s diplomatic efforts, as it includes discussions with key leaders and the historic inauguration of the Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi.
