Prabhas Kumar Pradhan, recently promoted to Chief Construction Engineer of the Anandpur Barrage Project, has come under scrutiny from the Vigilance department. The move follows his promotion on Thursday, with Vigilance agents raiding seven locations connected to him the next day.

Investigators have revealed that Pradhan and his family own 85 plots of land. Of these, 80 are located in Jaleswar, 4 in Delang in the Puri district, and 1 in Sunakanya, West Bengal. The documented sale value of these plots exceeds ₹2.07 crore, although their actual value is likely higher.

In addition to the land, Pradhan possesses a five-story building in Jaleswar, covering approximately 12,050 sq. ft. He also owns a market complex and a labor shelter shed in Gobra Ghat, Jaleswar, with a combined area of 6,151 sq. ft. The Professional Branch of Vigilance is currently assessing the value and measurements of these properties.

Pradhan’s assets also include a four-wheeler, a two-wheeler, and furniture valued at over ₹6,63,000 .
