Pran Pratishtha Mahotsava Celebrated at Noida Jagannath Temple

Noida/New Delhi, 2nd February 2025: The Noida Jagannath Temple in Sector-121 celebrated the Pran Pratishtha Mahotsava with great enthusiasm and devotion. The five-day event started on 29th January and concluded on 2nd February 2025. The temple was beautifully decorated with flowers, lights, and colorful fabrics, creating a festive atmosphere. Thousands of devotees gathered to witness this special occasion.The grand ceremony was organized smoothly by the Sri Jagannath Samiti under the leadership of President Biswanath Tripathy, General Secretary Dr. Manoranjan Mohanty, Vice President Pramod Bhal, and Joint Secretary Dhaneswar Nayak. Hundreds of dedicated volunteers worked tirelessly to make the event a great success.

Main Ritual on Basant PanchamiThe Pran Pratishtha ritual, the most important part of the event, was performed on Basant Panchami (2nd February 2025) by Gajapati Maharaja of Puri Shri Dibya Singha Deb, who is the Adya Sevak (chief servitor) of Lord Jagannath. He also performed the first puja after the consecration.

Several dignitaries attended the celebrations, including MPs Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Dr. Rabindra Narayan Behera, Surender Nagar, and MLA Pankaj Singh. Other prominent guests included BJP leaders Shaym Jaju, Upender Singh, Ravi Roshan, and Dinesh Khade, World Odisha Society Chairman Kishore Dwibedi, industrialists Rajesh Sahay and Brahma Mishra, woman leader Dr. Chidatmika Khatua, spiritual gurus Acharya Sailesh Tiwari and Sant Gautam Rishi, and Delhi Minister Sanjay Gehlot.

Grand Celebrations with Bhajans & Kirtans

The Pran Pratishtha ritual was conducted by priests from Mukti Mandap, Puri. The event brought together saints and spiritual leaders from places like Ayodhya, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Puri, and Banaras. Devotees were delighted to see the beautifully adorned Four Deities seated on the majestic Ratna Singhasana after the consecration.

Cultural Programmes Each Evening

A variety of cultural programs were held every evening featuring famous artists. Performers included the Sur Malhar team led by Santosh Rout, CA Sudhir Dash and his troupe, vocalists Daleep Chopra and Anil Chanchal, and bhajan singers like Vijay Verma, Amrita Chaturvedi, Vijay Sharma, Momar Bisu, and Rohit Kumar Bobby. Odisha’s Das Nrutyashala dance troupe also performed. Swami Madhabananda Maharaj gave spiritual discourses on Sri Jagannath Amrit Katha every evening, and Maa Kharakhai Keertan Mandali captivated the audience with devotional songs.

The event was successfully organized with the support of many committee members and volunteers, including Nigam Mohanty, Prashant Khillar, Abhimanyu Parida, Kishore Parida, Dillip Swain, Ramesh Nayak, Akshay Swain, Prakash Ray, Debabrata Mishra, Subrat Jena, Subal Behera, Rabindra Nayak, Prasad Parida, Prabhat Jena, Chintu, Arun Swain, Sibaram Panigrahi, Bharat Pradhan, Aditya Swain, A.R. Parija, Yudhistir Nayak, Sushant Sutar, Ajay Kuar, Haladhar Patra, Rabi Rout, Biswaranjan Swain, Debabrata Nayak, Raja, Anup Parida, Sunny Parida, Mahesh Parida, Shri Ranjan, and Bikram Parida.

The Pran Pratishtha Mahotsava was a grand success, bringing together devotees, saints, and cultural artists in a truly divine celebration.
