President Droupadi Murmu to reach odisha today for a Four-Day Visit

President Droupadi Murmu of India is set to commence a four-day visit to Odisha today, with her arrival scheduled in Mayurbhanj district from Jharkhand. During her time in the district, President Murmu will participate in several programs and pay homage to Maa Kichakeswari in Khiching. Additionally, she will lay the foundation stone for the Central Government Holiday Home in Rairangpur on the first day, alongside virtually initiating various road projects, a Sports Complex, and inaugurating the Eklavya Model Residential School in Barsahi.

On the following day, the President will engage with the members of Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) at Kadalibadi village in Gonasika, Keonjhar. Subsequently, she will inaugurate a national seminar focusing on ‘Tribes of Keonjhar: people, culture, and heritage,’ followed by addressing students at Dharanidhar University’s North Campus in Gambharia, Keonjhar. Concluding the day, she will grace the 53rd convocation of Utkal University in Bhubaneswar.

Moving forward to March 1, President Murmu will attend the 25th convocation of Berhampur University at Bhanja Bihar, followed by commemorating the golden jubilee celebration of Brahma Kumaris, Odisha, in Cuttack. Additionally, she will witness a presentation of PM JANMAN by the Government of Odisha at Raj Bhavan, Bhubaneswar.

On March 2, the President will explore various sites associated with Santha Kabi Bhima Bhoi in Sambalpur district, along with meeting followers of the Mahima Cult at the Mini Stadium in Sambalpur.
