President Draupadi Murmu is on the second day of her 5-day visit to Odisha. Today, she will attend various programs in Puri. Her schedule begins with visiting the temple and offering prayers to Lord Jagannath.
The President’s engagements are focused in Shrekshetra Puri today. At 9 AM, she will travel from Bhubaneswar to Puri by a special helicopter. Upon arrival, she will visit the temple to seek blessings from Lord Jagannath. Following this, she will also pay her respects to Goddess Vimala and Goddess Lakshmi.
The temple will remain closed to the general public for a few hours this morning to facilitate the President’s visit. After the temple visit, she will participate in the 75th Foundation Day and Diamond Jubilee celebrations of Gopabandhu Ayurveda College. At noon, she will return to Puri Raj Bhavan.
In the afternoon, the President will grace the Navy Day program as the chief guest at Puri Blue Flag Beach. She will witness the naval prowess demonstration, which is scheduled to continue until 5:45 PM.
