Muribahal police have arrested a railway employee, Ghanshyam Bhoi, for allegedly abducting a minor girl. Ghanshyam works as a gangman at Kesinga railway station.
Reports reveal that Ghanshyam was in a relationship with a minor girl from the Muribahal area, who is a student at a junior college. On December 9th, the girl’s family complained to the Muribahal police station, accusing Ghanshyam of kidnapping her.
Acting on the complaint, the police launched an investigation and successfully rescued the girl from a house within the Kesinga railway department premises.
Ghanshyam Bhoi, a resident of Loisingha Murshund village, has been taken into custody. Police have presented him in court and are continuing their investigation into the matter.
