This year, the state government has arranged 9 trains from different parts of the state to take the senior citizens on pilgrimage.
It is worth noting that Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik yesterday launched the train leaving Berhampur for the pilgrimage of senior citizens under the “Baristha Nagarika Tirtha Yatra Yojana, Odisha”. The train was traveling towards Kanyakumari-Trivandrum carrying 970 senior citizens.
