Temple Authorities Suspend Gem Repairs to Manage Devotee Influx

Temple authorities have suspended Ratnabhand repair work starting today. The Pausha Purnima and Makar Sankranti festivals have caused the postponement of other key temple activities until January 15.

Authorities expect a large influx of devotees during Pausha Purnima and Makar Sankranti, prompting them to pause the gem repairs to manage the anticipated crowd.

They will resume the repair work on January 16, following the guidelines approved by the state government and the museum’s management system. Shrimandi Chief Administrator Arvind Padhi has called on everyone to cooperate during this period.
