Temple Treasury Inspection Gains Momentum

Justice Biswanath Rath, chairman of the Ratna Bhandar inspection committee, arrived in Puri today, accompanied by retired Supreme Court judge Justice Adams Goyal. The team has prepared a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for counting and transferring the precious gems from the treasury to the strong room.

According to Justice Rath, the temple administration will first hand over the jewels to the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) for repair and restoration. Following this, the jewels will be taken to the Ratna Bhandar, where a special worship ceremony will be performed.
