The Philippines has imposed a lifetime ban on American traveller Anthony Lawrence. The move was taken by the Philippine Bureau of Immigration for filling out ‘derogatory words’ in digital immigration forms and misbehaving with immigration officials.
In fact, the Philippines has stopped accepting paper applications for travel forms in its own country. Currently only electronic applications are being accepted. Under such circumstances, people traveling to the Philippines are now required to complete the digital form at least 72 hours prior to arrival and departure.
Anthony Lawrence, 34, was denied entry to the country and permanently blacklisted after his “disrespectful” behavior, Philippine Bureau of Immigration Commissioner Norn Tanzingco said in a statement.
