Top 10 Richest People in the World: Bernard Arnault Leads with $235.6 Billion

The most recent Forbes World’s Billionaire list has been published, revealing Bernard Arnault and family as the top earners with a net worth of $235.6 billion. Meanwhile, Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries (RIL), secured the 10th position on the list.

Forbes highlighted that the combined net worth of the top 10 richest individuals surpasses the GDP of several countries. The magazine emphasized that these individuals predominantly hail from the technology, finance, and retail sectors, raising concerns about the vast wealth gap between them and the less fortunate worldwide.

The list features Amazon’s Jeff Bezos in second place with a net worth of $192.8 billion, followed by Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, in third place with $188.5 billion. Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook claimed the fourth position with a net worth of $169.8 billion, while Larry Ellison of Oracle and Warren Buffet of Berkshire Hathaway ranked fifth and sixth, with net worths of $154.6 billion and $135.0 billion, respectively.

Bill Gates, co-founder of Microsoft, was ranked seventh with a net worth of $129.5 billion, while Microsoft’s former CEO, Steve Ballmer, secured the eighth position with $123.5 billion. Larry Page, co-founder of Google, occupied the ninth spot with a net worth of $118.3 billion.

Furthermore, Mukesh Ambani’s net worth was listed as $113.9 billion, placing him in the tenth position on the Forbes richest people list. Ambani leads RIL, a conglomerate engaged in various sectors including energy, oil and gas exploration and production, refining and marketing, petrochemicals, textiles, polymers, and retail, among others.
