The truck ran over the jewellery shop. A security guard died in the accident. The accident took place late last night near Patna Street in Balangir town. One of the dead security guards was Siddharth Pradhan.
Late last night, Siddharth was on duty in front of the jewellery shop. Meanwhile, a truck came and ran over Siddharth. The shop was later boarded up. The local people there rescued Siddharth in critical condition and admitted him to the hospital. There the doctor declared him dead.
The police seized the truck and detained the driver for questioning and investigating the incident. It is said that the truck driver was intoxicated and caused the accident.
