
Bhubaneswar: Khurda and Jagatsinghpur districts will be included in Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha on Thursday. Various developmental projects will be inaugurated in these two districts. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will inaugurate 2 thousand 763 projects at a cost of 95 crore rupees in Khordha district and 2 thousand 922 development projects at a cost of 99 crore rupees in Jagatsinghpur.
It is worth noting that the state government’s ambitious scheme ‘Aam Odisha, Nabin Odisha’ has been launched on the 10th of this month. The focus of this program is to develop the panchayat and villages. The scheme was first launched in Keonjhar and Bhadrak districts. Later this scheme was started in Puri, Nayagarh, Mayurbhanj, Bargarh, Deogarh, Cuttack and Kendrapada districts.
3 thousand 397 crore rupees will be spent for our Odisha Naveen Odisha program across the state. This scheme will involve 6 thousand 794 panchayats of the state. A total of 90 thousand 723 projects will be implemented. In this scheme, each panchayat will get almost Rs 50 lakh. Digital infrastructure will be developed in every village along with improving the cultural base of Odisha.
Under the Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha programme, the Jagannath culture will be preserved in villages. All temples and religious places will be developed. Efforts are being made to improve digital infrastructure in each village which will lead to setting up of a science park, work hub and banking facilities. Primary schools will also be included in this programme.
