UIDAI Extends Free Document Upload Deadline for Aadhaar Card Updates: Know the new date…

The UIDAI, India’s governmental agency responsible for issuing identification numbers, announced on Tuesday its initiative to allow individuals to upload documents for free online until June 14, 2024. This decision, conveyed through X (formerly known as Twitter), aims to assist millions of Aadhaar cardholders in ensuring the accuracy and currency of their information. According to the official statement, “#UIDAI is letting people upload documents for free online until June 14, 2024, to help millions of Aadhaar card holders. You can use this free service only on the #myAadhaar website. UIDAI wants people to keep their documents up-to-date on their Aadhaar cards.”

Initially, UIDAI had set the deadline for free updates of Aadhaar Card details until March 14, 2024. However, they have since extended this deadline to June 14, 2024, marking the second extension. The update process can be completed conveniently and without charge through the mAadhaar portal until the specified deadline.
