Veteran BJD leader Damodar Rout passes away

Bhubaneswar : The veteran BJD leader, Damodar Rout passed away at 5:23 am in the early morning at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar. He was 82 years old at the time of his death. Dama Rout, a prominent figure in the BJD, had been unwell for some days and was undergoing treatment in a private hospital for various age-related ailments.

During his tenure, Routray played a pivotal role in Odisha’s political landscape, contributing significantly to the growth and development of the state.
