Vishnu Deo Sai, who used to lead the BJP in Chhattisgarh, will now become the new chief minister of the state. The BJP took some time to decide on the chief minister after winning convincingly in Chhattisgarh, going against predictions that it would face a tough competition with the Congress.
After a period of speculation, the BJP officially declared that Vishnu Deo Sai, a former Union Minister, will be Chhattisgarh’s new Chief Minister. This decision came after the party achieved a significant victory, marking a notable change from 2018.
Vishnu Deo Sai is recognized as one of the senior tribal leaders in Chhattisgarh. With a history as a former Union Minister and a four-time Lok Sabha MP, the 59-year-old Sai has also served as a two-time MLA in the undivided Madhya Pradesh.
