
The Chairman of 5T and Nabin Odisha VK Pandian conducted a comprehensive review of developmental initiatives in Kandhamal district. Engaging in the Nua-O program at Phulbani Stadium, Pandian interacted with college students from the region, emphasizing how Nua-O serves as a platform for young talents to shine, contributing to their holistic personality development alongside academic accomplishments.
Addressing key infrastructure projects, Pandian assessed the advancement of the 100-seat medical college and 650-bed teaching hospital in Phulbani, currently under construction with a budget of Rs 655 crore. He directed officials to adhere to the specified timeline for project completion.
The 5T chairman also scrutinized significant road and bridge undertakings in the district, accounting for a total expenditure of Rs 260 crore. Additionally, he monitored the progress of extensive pipe water supply projects encompassing Balliguda, Tikabali, K Nuagaon, Khajuripada, Phulbani, Phiringia, and Chakapada, with a cumulative cost of Rs 630 crore. Several of these projects were initiated following Pandian’s previous visit to Kandhamal, during which he actively participated in grievance meetings and gathered public feedback.
