Young Man Arrested After Brutal Murder in Gujarat; Body Hidden in Washing Machine

In a chilling incident in Gujarat, the police have arrested Manoj Sahu, an accused from Odisha, for the brutal murder of Gurcharan Pradhan from Cuttack. The body of the victim was hidden in a washing machine to evade detection.

Manoj Sahu, who ran a variety store in Surat, had a dispute with Gurcharan Pradhan over money. On October 10, the argument escalated, and in a fit of rage, Manoj beat Gurcharan to death with an iron rod. After committing the murder, Manoj hid the body in the washing machine to avoid suspicion and fled the scene.

Weeks later, locals reported a foul odour, prompting the police to investigate. Using CCTV footage and mobile tracking, the police tracked Manoj’s movements across Bhubaneswar, Konark, Delhi, and other areas. They eventually learned that he had been staying in the RD Fundi area of Odisha for several days.

The Gujarat Police, with the help of Bhadrak Police, arrested Manoj after he had spent several days in the area. He was then taken to Gujarat for further legal proceedings.

This arrest comes after more than a month of intense searching, and Manoj will now face charges for the brutal murder of Gurcharan Pradhan.
