RSS Steps In to Address BJP’s Post-Election Challenges

The RSS has stepped in to address internal issues within the BJP after its disappointing performance in the Lok Sabha elections. On Wednesday evening, a coordination meeting was held at the Chief Minister’s residence, where several key issues were discussed. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and RSS leader Arun Kumar outlined a strategy for the upcoming by-elections.

The RSS emphasized that differences between the government and the party could lead to political losses. They advised that all public statements should be consistent and non-controversial. The meeting included BJP state president Bhupendra Chaudhary, General Secretary Organization Dharampal, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya, and Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak.

The RSS also stressed the need for Sangh workers to participate alongside party officials in the by-elections. To counter the opposition’s narrative on reservation and the constitution, Sangh workers will work closely with party leaders to engage with the public. The meeting focused on resolving tensions between the government and the party, with the RSS advising senior leaders to handle any disagreements privately.

Booth management was another key focus. The meeting recommended holding small meetings at the booth level to maintain communication with voters. The RSS also suggested launching a membership drive to recruit more backward and Dalit members, aiming to strengthen the party’s base and counter the influence of the PDA.
