Vigilance has tied up the millionaire mastermind. The vigilance has arrested NV Harihar Rao, chief of the Balasore Rural Works. It is reported that the vigilance has arrested him in the case of asset disposal.
Vigilance raided Harihar’s father’s house, office, Bhubaneswar, Brahmapur, Balasore, Keonjhar and Phulbani in total 11 places yesterday. During the raid, the vigilance found 2 buildings, one flat and 4 plots and two anonymous flats.
Vigilance informed that Harihar had Rs 1.11 crore in bank deposits and owned one four-wheeler and one two-wheeler. Similarly, the vigilance seized Rs 46.45 lakh in cash from his house.
Vigilance questioned Harihar about the stolen property. But he could not give a satisfactory answer about all the properties. Vigilance arrested him today.
