Yogi Adityanath Issues Strict New Guidelines for Restaurants and Bars in UP

Andhra Pradesh’s Tirupati Balaji Temple prasad controversy has sparked nationwide discussion. In response, the Uttar Pradesh government is on high alert and has issued new orders regarding bars, restaurants, and food safety.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced fresh guidelines to combat food adulteration in eateries. He emphasized that the mixing of human waste with food products, such as juice, fruit, and bread, is utterly unacceptable. The government will conduct thorough inspections of food establishments, and all employees will undergo police verification. Yogi directed officials to amend the Food Safety and Standards Act to ensure the purity and integrity of food items.

Under the new guidelines, all operators in hotels, bars, and restaurants must display the name and address of the owner and manager. Every cook and waiter must wear masks and gloves, and any negligence in this regard will not be tolerated.

Additionally, the government mandates the installation of CCTV in all hotels and restaurants. If anyone attempts to adulterate food with waste products or other contaminants, the authorities will take strict action against both the operator and the individual involved. The Yogi government has stressed the importance of maintaining cleanliness in food centers, restaurants, and bars.
