A Parliamentary Standing Committee has been formed, comprising members from both houses for various departments, with many MPs from Odisha included.
Baijayant Panda, MP from Odisha, joins the 31-member Trade Committee. Aparajita Shadangi, MP from Bhubaneswar, has been selected for the Health and Family Welfare Committee. Bhartrahari Mahatab has not only been appointed to the Finance Committee but also serves as its chairman. Samvit Patar joins the Committee on Education, Women, and Children.
Additionally, Subashish Khuntia, Balabhadra Majhi, Bibhu Tarai is included in the Industrial Committee, while Abhimanyu Sethi joins the Committee on Transport, Tourism, and Culture. Saptagiri Ullaka serves as the chairman of the Rural Development and Panchayatiraj Department Committee. Malvika Devi has been named a member of the Food and Public Distribution Committee.
Anant Naik has joined the Coal, Mines, and Steel Committee, and Pradeep Purohit is part of the Labour and Skill Development Committee. Pradeep Manigrahi has been appointed to the Foreign Affairs Committee. Nava Charan Majhi is a member of the Panchayatiraj Department Committee, while Pratap Chandra Shadangi serves on the Water Resources Department Committee.
Rabindra Narayan Nayak has joined the Information and Technology Committee, and Rudra Narayan Pani is part of the Labour and Skill Development Committee. The Agriculture and Food Processing Committee includes Sukant Manigrahi, while Anita Shubhdharshini represents the Trade Committee.
Rajya Sabha MP Mamata Mahanath has been appointed to the Energy Committee,has joined both the Information Technology and Defense Department Committees. Sulata Deo is included in the Industrial Committee, and Niranjan Bishi serves on the Fertilizers and Chemicals Department Committee.
